Susan J. Radom
Susan primarily represents owners, associations and users of real property throughout New Jersey. Representation of common interest ownership associations, (condominiums, home owner associations, cooperatives, and planned unit developments) makes up a substantial portion of her practice.
In addition, Susan has extensive general litigation experience. Over a 25 year time span, she has represented plaintiffs and defendants in commercial litigation, personal injury and insurance defense matters. As a consequence, Susan has unique and invaluable experience that clearly provides an advantage to her current clients.
Susan’s clients appreciate her role as a counselor of law. She uses her extensive legal expertise, common sense and direct style to efficiently resolve her client’s legal problems. Susan meticulously, but pragmatically, analyzes the various issues typically faced by both small and large groups of owners and users of community associations. These skills serve Susan’s clients well whether it is in her interpretation of association governing documents or in her exercising effective diplomacy on behalf of an association in handling the concerns of a disgruntled property owner, or in her guiding an association through a multi-million dollar capital improvement project. Susan’s community association services also include the handling of all aspects of transition, contract formation and negotiation as well as the collection of past due debt owed by unit owners. Susan has participated in the presentation of seminar material relating to community association law for the New Jersey Chapter of CAI and at the Institute of Continuing Legal Education on many occasions.
