Admitted to the New Jersey Bar in December 1991, Ms. Wurth has over 25 years of experience. She graduated summa cum laude from Seton Hall University in 1978 with a B.A. in psychology. Ms. Wurth attended Rutgers University School of Law and graduated in 1981. Ms. Wurth has a wealth of experience. Concentrating in Labor and Employment Law and in Family Law as well as in general litigation, Ms. Wurth has extensive experience in the Superior Court of New Jersey, in the Federal Court for the District of New Jersey, and before administrative agencies. She is a member of the following bars: State of New Jersey, Federal Court for the Districts of New Jersey, the Southern District of New York, the Eastern District of New York and the United States Tax Court. She has also argued cases before the New Jersey Appellate Division and the New Jersey Supreme Court. Ms. Wurth currently handles labor and employment matters, family law matters, municipal court matters, estate litigation, special education law, and general litigation. As a labor attorney, she has handled sexual harassment cases, discrimination and hostile work environment claims as well as whistleblower claims, unemployment issues and other types of wrongful termination cases. Her family law practice includes divorces, pre-nuptial agreements, DYFS matters, property settlement agreements, child support, custody matters, domestic violence cases and post-judgment motions. Municipal court matters include DWI matters, disorderly persons offenses, and motor vehicle offenses. Ms. Wurth also serves as the attorney to the East Rutherford Planning Board. She has previously represented the East Rutherford Sewerage Authority, and has provided labor advice to many municipalities. Her labor experience also includes acting as the former Board Attorney for the West Amwell School District. Ms. Wurth has rendered legal services to both management and individuals alike. Ms. Wurth has taught at Fairleigh Dickinson University as an adjunct professor; is a former member of the Carlstadt‑East Rutherford Regional Board of Education and is active in her community. She was formerly on the Board of Directors for the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence Partners In Prevention and has previously served as Board President.
