Vanessa NixonVanessa Nixon began her career providing service to people who needed help through social service agencies before and while attending law school. Finding every benefit available and maximizing the assistance given to people truly in need of help were among Vanessa’s most important successes before she began her legal career. Now, in the context of her private law practice, Vanessa brings her passion, commitment and determination to bear advocating for her clients. Vanessa’s background, intellectual interests and skills are broad. She provides advice to community association clients suggesting practical solutions to community problems including collection of past due debts, violations, and drafting contracts, among other things. Vanessa also represents parties in Family Court, Drug Court and Municipal matters.

Vanessa S.L. Nixon is a member of the Somerset County Business Partnership, Community Associations Institute and the Young Lawyers Division of the New Jersey State Bar Association. Vanessa represents community associations as its general counsel, in collection matters, the negotiation and formation of service contracts, and more. Vanessa also represents clients with DWI, criminal and municipal charges. Additionally, she has extensive experience with family court matters including divorces, child support and custody matters.

Vanessa continues to help people in need offering service to individuals and non-profits in a variety of areas like family law, unemployment and disability, social security, and workers’ compensation claims.
